Who we are

GVI, Genuine Vehicle Imports have been helping Kiwi's into quality cars for over 30 years. We started bringing electric vehicles into New Zealand when the Nissan Leaf was about the only one you could buy. Over the last 13 years we've imported, complied, converted and delivered thousands of them, along with a lot of other EVs.

The GVI Service Centre grew out of needing somewhere that could actually look after those cars properly. Today it's a full workshop on Great South Road in Penrose, doing WOFs, servicing and repairs for the public, with a particular soft spot for the Leaf, because we know them inside out.

MTA Assured. We're members of the Motor Trade Association, and "Assured" means our workmanship is backed by the MTA, if you're ever unhappy, there's an independent body to go to.
